Early Analytic Philosophy: Russell, Moore, Wittgenstein

This course explores the foundations of early analytic philosophy through the works of Bertrand Russell, G.E. Moore, and Ludwig Wittgenstein. Focusing on themes of language, logic, and meaning, it examines how Russell and Moore broke with idealism to establish clarity and rigor in philosophical method, and how Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus reshaped debates on logic, metaphysics, and the limits of language.
